How to choose

• Size first: many Barkman tables and benches are offered in several lengths — pick the size on each listing's options.
• Match the set: within a collection (for example Christy, Jefferson or Astoria), order chairs, benches and servers in the same wood and finish for a matching set.
• Steel bases: Barkman's steel bases are powder coated, a durable dry finish that is more resistant to chipping, scratching and rust.

Lead times

• Made to order: most Barkman pieces are built to order and ship in approximately 9 weeks, plus about 3 weeks for white-glove in-home delivery (about 12 weeks total).
• Quick Ship: items in Barkman's Quick Ship program ship in approximately 2 weeks, plus about 3 weeks for white-glove in-home delivery (about 5 weeks total) — see Barkman Quick Ship.

Woods and finishes

Barkman's finish charts cover Brown Maple, Wormy Maple, Tiger Maple, Grey Elm, Rustic Walnut, Rustic White Oak, White Oak and Red Oak, with OCS (Ohio Certified Stains), Barkman and Bi-Co finish selections. Barkman top-coats its finishes with a post-catalyzed conversion varnish. Available woods and finishes vary by piece — check the options on each listing.
