36-Inch Ranges — Gas, Dual Fuel, Induction & Electric

The 36-inch range is the sweet spot for serious home cooks: room for six burners and a generous oven without the footprint or install cost of a 48-inch unit. Forno makes up the bulk of what Urban Supply Inc stocks here, with Thor Kitchen and Cosmo both well represented and Rangaire and Empava also carried.

Choosing a fuel configuration

  • Dual fuel — gas burners over an electric oven. The Forno Massimo 36-inch freestanding dual fuel (FFSGS6125-36) sits here. Pick this for flame control on top and even, dry heat below for baking.
  • All gas — including the Forno Massimo French door gas range (FFSGS6439) and the Thor Kitchen 36-inch 6-burner with a 6.0 cu. ft. convection oven. Simpler where you already have gas and no 240V circuit at the range.
  • Induction — the Forno Torino with true convection and air fry, and the Forno Maximus with air fryer. Fastest heat response and the easiest surface to clean, but it needs induction-compatible cookware and a 240V circuit.
  • Packages — Cosmo bundles a 36-inch dual fuel range with a wall-mount hood and dishwasher, for buyers outfitting a whole kitchen rather than replacing one appliance.

Before you order

Confirm the fuel and circuit you actually have at the wall; whether the model is freestanding or slide-in, since the two finish differently against the counter; and your door and hallway clearances, because a 36-inch range is a two-person delivery. If you are outfitting a whole kitchen, Cosmo's 36-inch appliance packages bundle the range with a hood and and matching appliances. For exact BTU per burner, oven capacity and cutout dimensions, use the spec sheet on the individual product page — these vary between series within the same brand.
