Fire & Water Bowls

Fire and water bowls combine a gas flame with a sheet of water pouring from the bowl into the pool below, and a plain water bowl gives the spill without the fire. How to choose fire and water bowls

• Spill style: a single spillway or scupper gives one sheet toward the pool; wide and gravity spills widen it; 4-way and 360-degree spills pour on every side for a bowl on a column or island.
• Material: GFRC concrete blends with coping and stone; hammered copper weathers to a patina; stainless and powder coated metal suit modern pools.
• Size: 24 to 36-inch bowls work in pairs on a raised wall; 48-inch and larger and the linear bowls stand alone as a centerpiece.
• Ignition: match lit, match lit with flame sense or low voltage electronic ignition on The Outdoor Plus; match lite or auto ignition with WiFi control on TessaRai kits.
• Plumbing: the bowl is fed by the pool pump and the gas by a licensed gas plumber, so plan both lines before the wall is finished.
