Fire Bowls

Fire bowls put a gas flame in a freestanding vessel, so the fire sits on a pool wall, a patio or a pedestal instead of in a built-in pit. This collection holds every fire bowl we carry as a finished bowl: The Outdoor Plus Maya, Sedona, Cazo, Avalon, Remi, Roma and Luna bowls in GFRC concrete, wood grain concrete, hammered patina copper, stainless steel or powder coated metal, from 24-inch rounds to 72 by 20-inch linear bowls, plus the Kingsman fire bowl for its FP2085 fire pit and the trim ring for FPB30 bowls. Complete concrete fire bowl kits from TessaRai, sold with the pan, burner and hoses, are grouped separately.

How to choose fire bowls

  • Material: GFRC concrete is the lightest way to get the cast look; wood grain concrete adds texture; hammered copper darkens to a patina; stainless steel and powder coated metal keep a clean modern edge.
  • Size and shape: 24 to 36-inch rounds suit a pool corner or patio; 48-inch and larger bowls and the 48, 60 and 72-inch linear Maya bowls anchor a long wall or a commercial deck.
  • Ignition: match lit uses a key valve and no wiring; match lit with flame sense shuts the gas if the flame goes out; low voltage electronic ignition lights from a switch.
  • Fire and water: if you want water spilling from the same bowl, see the fire and water bowls collection; for a pan-and-burner kit built around a plain concrete bowl, see the TessaRai fire bowl kits.
  • Gas type: every bowl is listed in natural gas or propane; a licensed gas plumber makes the connection.
