3-Sided & Panoramic Fireplaces

3-sided fireplaces (also called panoramic, bay-view, or corner-view fireplaces) are the right call when the fireplace needs to anchor an open-plan living space rather than just sit against a wall. The bay or corner viewing geometry means the flame is visible from multiple seating areas at once — the kitchen, the dining nook, the great-room couch — without needing to commit to a single focal wall.

  • Remii BAY-SLIM — slim 10⅝" depth designed to install into a standard 2x4 stud wall, indoor/outdoor rated
  • Sierra Flame Toscana / Lyon — 3-sided and 4-sided see-through gas configurations

What to know before specifying: 3-sided units have specific clearance requirements on the side panels (typically 4-6" non-combustible material). For peninsula or true corner installation, plan the framing around the unit footprint at the design stage — these aren't drop-in replacements for standard fireboxes.
