• Gas puts gas burners over a gas convection oven. The Galiano 36-inch gas range has 6 sealed burners and a 5.36 cu. ft. oven; the 48-inch version has 8 burners and a double oven of 4.32 and 2.26 cu. ft.
• Dual fuel keeps the gas burners and adds a 240V electric oven with true convection. The Galiano 36-inch dual fuel range has 6 sealed Italian burners, one a dual ring rated up to 20,000 BTU, over a 5.36 cu. ft. electric oven.
• Electric ranges come as the 30 and 36-inch Galiano, with 5 cooking zones over a convection oven, and the 30-inch Leonardo Espresso with a 5.0 cu. ft. oven.

Capriasca is the Pro dual fuel line in 30, 36 and 48 inches, with 5 sealed burners and a 4.23 cu. ft. oven on the 30-inch model; on the 48-inch ranges the Galiano cooktop is rated 107,000 BTU and the Capriasca 160,000 BTU. Leonardo is the 30-inch Espresso range in electric, gas or induction, and the 30-inch Breno gas and Lazio dual fuel ranges add a griddle and an air fryer mode.

Matching the Range Hood

Every Forno range and hood package pairs the range with a hood of the same width, so the choice is about mounting style, backsplash and airflow. Wall mount hoods hang above a freestanding range, while under cabinet hoods sit beneath the upper cabinets, which is the layout every Espresso set uses.

• Orvieto wall mount hoods come in 30, 36 and 48-inch widths without a backsplash; the 36-inch Orvieto is rated 1,200 CFM.
• Savona and Ansedonia wall mount hoods include a backsplash panel, and most add a shelf and a red light warmer. The 30-inch Savona is rated 600 CFM; the 36-inch Savona and Ansedonia and the 48-inch Savona are rated 1,200 CFM.
• Bari under cabinet hoods are 30 inches wide with LED lighting and rated 400 or 600 CFM depending on the version.

The third and fourth pieces are where the packages diverge, so match them to what actually needs replacing. Each option is tied to a specific range.

Finishes: Stainless Steel or Espresso Black and White

Stainless steel is the default, and every Galiano, Capriasca, Breno and Lazio set is stainless throughout. For color, the Espresso appliance package line is the route: the range, hood, refrigerator and dishwasher come in black or white with antique brass or stainless steel hardware, and stainless versions of the Espresso 2 and 3-piece sets exist as well.

Installation and Delivery

A package does not change the installation requirements of the individual appliances, but several trades may need scheduling around one delivery. Plan for the following before you order.

• Gas connection. Gas and dual fuel ranges need a licensed installer to make the gas connection.
• Electrical. Dual fuel and electric models need a dedicated 240V circuit.
• Hood venting. Hoods should be vented outdoors where possible, so plan the duct route before the cabinets go in.
• Cutouts. Confirm cabinet cutouts before ordering: the range opening at 30, 36 or 48 inches, the 24-inch dishwasher opening, the hood height and the refrigerator width and depth. The Galiano 36 and 48-inch gas ranges, for example, are 28 inches deep and 38 inches tall.

Appliance packages ship by freight, curbside, so moving the pieces inside is on you or your installer. Check every carton against the package listing when it arrives.

Yes, through the Espresso line. The Espresso appliance package sets build on the Leonardo 30-inch electric range and come in black with antique brass trim or white with stainless steel or antique brass trim, with every piece finished to match. The stainless Galiano and Capriasca packages have no color option.

Does a Forno range and hood package include the backsplash?

Only if you choose the backsplash version. Sets built on the Orvieto wall mount hood have no backsplash, sets with a Savona or Ansedonia hood include the panel, and the listing title says which you are getting. Espresso sets use the Bari under cabinet hood, so no backsplash is included.
