Pile Driving Equipment

Pile driving equipment for contractors who install sheet piles, H-beams, pipe and timber piles, or solar and guardrail posts. Vibratory hammers (vibro hammers) clamp the pile and drive or extract it with eccentric vibration — used for sheet piling and for pulling piles back out. Hydraulic impact hammers strike the pile head with a hydraulically accelerated ram for load-bearing piles, for finishing a pile after a vibro reaches refusal, and for refusal and load testing. Stand-alone solar pile drivers carry their own diesel engine and mast for long runs of posts.

Within the vibro range, side-grip models clamp the pile from the side, auto-tilting models add 360° rotation and a 90° tilt so one operator can pick a pile up off the ground, and mini top-drive models fit 7–12 metric ton excavators. Size a vibro by your excavator class first, then check that your auxiliary circuit delivers the oil flow and pressure listed for that model.

Every RAMEX machine is sold by quote: send us your carrier (make, model, operating weight and auxiliary hydraulic flow and pressure) and your delivery ZIP code, and we confirm the right model, current availability, lead time and a delivered price.

FAQ

Vibratory hammer or impact hammer?

A vibratory hammer drives sheet piles and can also extract them. An impact hammer drives load-bearing piles and finishes piles once a vibro reaches refusal.

What size excavator do I need for a vibro hammer?

Each model lists its excavator class — from 7–12 metric ton machines for the Nano Vibe up to 47–55 metric tons for the ART550 — along with the oil flow and pressure it needs.

Side-grip or auto-tilting?

Side-grip models clamp the pile from the side. Auto-tilting models add 360° rotation and a 90° tilt so a single operator can lift a pile from horizontal and drive it.
