• 5000W off-grid inverter/charger — 48V DC to 120V AC split-phase, pure sine.
• Packaged system — the 5.12kWh home backup bundle pairing a 48V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery with a 3500W 48V off-grid inverter, for buyers who would rather not size components individually.

EG4 — high-output hybrid and matched storage

The 12,000XP V2 is a 48V split-phase unit specified at 24kW PV input and 12kW power output — the tier for whole-home off-grid rather than partial backup. The EG4 WallMount indoor battery (48V 280Ah / 14.3kWh) is listed with UL1973 and UL9540A certifications.

How to size it

Three numbers govern the choice: continuous output, surge capability, and PV input ceiling. Buy for the array you intend to end up with, not the one you are installing first — PV input is the limit people hit second. Split-phase 120/240V is required for standard home panels; 24V units are for vehicle and small-system use. Confirm certification requirements with your inspector before ordering, as these vary by jurisdiction.
