Hydraulic Breakers for Excavators & Backhoes
Hydraulic breakers (rock breakers, hydraulic hammers) for demolition, trenching, tunnels, quarries and mining. The RAMEX RAM range runs from mini and backhoe-loader breakers for 0.8–15 metric ton carriers, through the Medium Series for 6–22 metric ton excavators and the 555–715 HSA models for 18–32 metric tons, to the Giants Series for 32–100 metric ton excavators. The FX and SX gas-type breakers add accumulator support and up to 12,000 joules of impact energy.

How do I size a hydraulic breaker?
Match the breaker's carrier-weight range to your machine, then check that your auxiliary flow and pressure fall inside the model's published range.
What is a gas-type breaker?
Gas-type breakers use high gas pressure to return the piston faster, raising the impact rate; the RAMEX FX and SX models also use a hydraulic accumulator.
Are there breakers for backhoe loaders?
Yes. The RAM BHL Series is designed for backhoe loaders, with mini and light models for carriers down to 0.8 metric tons.
