Coffee Tables

The real choice on this page is where the table lives and what it has to survive. Roughly a third of the assortment is built for outdoor patio use in teak, acacia, concrete, powder-coated aluminum and wicker rattan; the rest is indoor furniture in wood, glass, stone and upholstery. Barkman Furniture covers the solid-wood and steel-accent end, and Forno contributes a genuinely different option: 51-inch smart coffee tables with built-in refrigeration, dual drawers, dual cooling zones, Bluetooth audio and wireless charging. There is also a black marble coffee table with a built-in fireplace if you want the table to be the focal point.

Narrow it with these:

  • Shape — round, oval, square, rectangular, kidney-shaped, or nesting sets of two.
  • Size — widths and diameters from 30 to 54 inches are stated in the titles; measure your sofa run and leave walking clearance.
  • Material — teak, acacia, mango, burl and rattan wood; concrete and travertine; artificial marble; tempered glass; boucle and vegan leather upholstery; aluminum and steel.
  • Storage — drawer, lower-shelf and lift-free storage models if the room needs the table to hold something.

Outdoor sets are also sold as multi-piece groups pairing a coffee table with armchairs, a loveseat or a sofa, which is usually cheaper than buying the table alone and matching it later.
